- Years of Experience: 8
- Simon Fraser University - Interactive Arts and Technology
Vincent began his career as a 3D artist in high school. From his very first class, he knew that it was his life's calling. From modeling, rigging, lighting, rendering, cinematography, composition, to animation, he seems to naturally understand and quickly pick up skills in all of these areas. How Vincent stands out from other students (as well as many professionals today) is not just the quality of his work, but his ability to produce quality work very fast.
Vincent was awarded the Top Overall Animation Student Award for both years that he was enrolled in animation classes in his high school, and is the only student ever to have his name appears twice on the trophy in his high school. He also received the Richmond School Board's District Scholarship for his achievements. He was then accepted into the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) at Simon Fraser University.
His years of study in user experience design and critical cultural issues involving technology have provided him with the knowledge, and understanding, to approach many opportunities - ranging from web application development, to virtual environment development.
Vincent was hired by SFU to lead a research in using virtual reality for educational uses. There, he led a team of 4 in developing a virtual community for SFU in SecondLife. Throughout his studies and research at SFU, Vincent also worked as a freelance in 3D visualization as well as web design.
Graduated in April 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Arts and Technology, Vincent joined RF Productions and headed the 3D Design and Web Development initiatives.
Vincent is determined to provide services that are above industry standards, innovative, usable, and efficient. For Vincent, all his work is not just about creating quality work and making a living, but to also educate clients and other designers how to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
